Welcome to ZAT LAW. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ZAT LAW mobile application ("App") and related services provided by ZAT LAW ("we," "our," or "us").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

To use ZAT LAW, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• Not be barred from using the App under applicable laws
• Provide accurate and complete registration information

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account by:

• Providing a valid phone number and verifying it via OTP, or
• Signing in with your Google account

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and PIN
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.3 Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate and complete.

4. Services Description

4.1 AI Legal Assistant

Our AI assistant provides:

• General legal information based on Indian laws
• Document analysis and explanation
• Legal knowledge base access

Limitations: AI responses are generated by automated systems and may contain errors. They are not a substitute for professional legal advice.

4.2 Lawyer Marketplace

We facilitate connections between users and independent lawyers. We do not:

• Employ the lawyers listed on our platform
• Guarantee the quality of legal services provided
• Provide legal advice ourselves

The lawyer-client relationship is solely between you and the lawyer you choose to engage.

4.3 Case Tracking

Case tracking features are for organizational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of court dates or case information.

5. Subscription Plans and Payments

5.1 Free Tier

Free accounts include limited access to:

• 50 AI queries per month
• 2 document uploads per month
• Basic features with advertisements

5.2 Premium Subscription

Premium subscriptions are available at:

• Monthly: ₹199/month
• Yearly: ₹1,999/year (save 16%)

5.3 Payment Terms

• Payments are processed securely through Razorpay
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Prices may change with prior notice
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law

5.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App. Upon cancellation:

• You retain access until the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial periods
• Your account reverts to the free tier

6. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or lawyers
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use the App to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce our content without permission
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Share your account credentials with others
• Upload false or misleading documents

7. User Content

7.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (documents, case details, chat messages). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your content to provide services
• Share relevant content with lawyers you choose to consult
• Use anonymized data to improve our AI services

7.2 Content Restrictions

You must not upload content that:

• Infringes intellectual property rights
• Contains illegal material
• Is defamatory, obscene, or offensive
• Violates any person's privacy

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Property

The App, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is owned by ZAT LAW and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8.2 Legal Content

Indian laws and legal texts provided in the App are in the public domain. Our organization, presentation, and AI-generated explanations are proprietary.

9. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including:

• Firebase (Google) - Authentication and data storage
• Razorpay - Payment processing
• Agora - Video calling
• Google AdMob - Advertising

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

10. Disclaimers

10.1 Service Availability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10.2 AI Limitations

Our AI assistant may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. Always verify important legal information with qualified professionals.

10.3 Lawyer Services

We do not guarantee the availability, qualifications, or quality of lawyers on our platform. Conduct your own due diligence before engaging any lawyer.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• ZAT LAW shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
• We are not liable for any legal outcomes resulting from information provided through the App
• We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of lawyers on our platform

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ZAT LAW, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use of the App
• Your content or submissions
• Your violation of any third-party rights

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by using the account deletion feature or contacting support.

13.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse the platform or other users

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your access to the App will be revoked
• Your data will be deleted as per our Privacy Policy
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

14.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

14.3 Informal Resolution

Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at legal@zat-law.com to attempt informal resolution.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting updated Terms in the App
• Sending a notification through the App
• Updating the "Last Updated" date

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ZAT LAW.
• Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver.
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent.
