What is ZAT LAW? +

ZAT LAW is an AI-powered legal assistance app designed for users in India. It provides legal information, document analysis, case tracking, and connects you with verified lawyers. The app uses advanced AI technology to help you understand legal concepts and navigate the Indian legal system.

Is ZAT LAW a substitute for a lawyer? +

No. ZAT LAW provides legal information and educational content only. It is NOT a substitute for professional legal advice. For specific legal matters, court cases, or legal decisions, you should always consult a qualified, licensed lawyer. Our app can help you understand legal concepts and connect you with lawyers when needed.

How do I create an account? +

You can create an account in two ways:

  • Phone Number: Enter your mobile number and verify with OTP
  • Google Sign-In: Sign in with your Google account

After verification, complete your profile by adding your name, location, and language preference.

What are the subscription plans? +

We offer two subscription options:

  • Free: 50 AI queries/month, 2 document uploads, basic features with ads
  • Premium Monthly: ₹199/month - Unlimited queries, unlimited uploads, ad-free
  • Premium Yearly: ₹1,999/year - Save 16% with annual billing
How do I cancel my subscription? +

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Open the ZAT LAW app
  2. Go to Profile > Subscription
  3. Tap "Manage Subscription"
  4. Select "Cancel Subscription"

You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

How accurate is the AI assistant? +

Our AI assistant is powered by advanced language models trained on Indian legal content. However:

  • AI responses are for informational purposes only
  • Information may be outdated if laws have recently changed
  • Complex legal situations require professional analysis
  • Always verify important information with a qualified lawyer
How do I upload documents for analysis? +

To upload a document:

  1. Go to the Documents section in the app
  2. Tap "Upload Document" or the + button
  3. Select a PDF or image from your device, or take a photo
  4. Wait for OCR processing to extract text
  5. Select "Analyze" to get AI insights

Supported formats: PDF, JPG, PNG. Maximum file size: 10MB.

How do I book a lawyer consultation? +

To book a consultation:

  1. Go to the Lawyers section
  2. Search by specialization, city, or name
  3. View lawyer profiles, ratings, and fees
  4. Select "Book Consultation"
  5. Choose a date and time slot
  6. Complete payment if required
  7. Connect via video call at the scheduled time
Is my data secure? +

Yes, we take data security seriously:

  • All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
  • We use Firebase with security rules for data access
  • Payment processing is PCI-DSS compliant via Razorpay
  • Your documents are stored securely and only accessible by you (and lawyers you share with)

How do I delete my account? +

To delete your account:

  1. Go to Settings > Account
  2. Select "Delete Account"
  3. Confirm your decision

Alternatively, you can submit a deletion request through our Account Deletion page.

Note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be deleted.

What languages are supported? +

Currently, ZAT LAW supports:

  • English
  • Hindi

We're working on adding more Indian languages in future updates.

I forgot my PIN. What should I do? +

If you forgot your PIN:

  1. On the PIN entry screen, tap "Forgot PIN"
  2. Verify your identity via phone OTP or Google Sign-In
  3. Set a new 6-digit PIN

If you're still having trouble, contact support.

How do I report a bug or issue? +

To report issues:

  • In-App: Go to Settings > Help & Support > Report Issue
  • Email: Send details to support@zat-law.com

Please include: your device model, app version, and steps to reproduce the issue.
